Junior Doctors on strike again.
Don't fool for the " doing it for our benefit " bullshit, this is about money and bringing the Tory party down.

I saw a banner on Sky News that had #toriesout written on it.

The trade unions are trying to regain the power and if they are allowed we are screwed.

It's quite telling the the Doctors leader won't say how close the vote was.

My advice to the Government is hold firm and sack those that refuse to work.

Margaret Thatcher would have destroyed these unions before she even had lunch.

Patient safety?

Wasn't that the same reason they gave for going on strike?

How confusing.

Why has the BMA called off the strike? What reason do they give?

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
The British Medical Association has called off the junior doctors' strike due to take place in England next week amid concerns about patient safety.
The BMA said it was not backing down in the fight over a new contract.
It said strikes in October, November and December would go ahead unless the government negotiates a new deal.
Medical leaders and hospital managers had warned the short notice - the walkout was only announced last week - meant care would be put at risk.

FC once there was privatisation of healthcare alongside the NHS wth profits dished out to shareholders and pharmaceutical companies doing the same with profits. You can poke that oath for those that dangled those little carrots to them, how you can take that oath and then resist the rewards in the private sector is saintly and they are rare through history let alone nowadays.

Have a go at shareholders in private healthcare before doctors get called greedy I say.Too many being sheep on here to the massive systematic greed message dished out by the elite. Doctors are small fry AND actually do it in a really essential to life profession.

The public don't feel the doctors are lying to them when they carry out their professional duties.About the worst profession you could have put up as being decent for not striking......

Side, the Hippocratic oath is just as relevant now as it was in the late Fifth Century BC

Politicians get slated probably more than any other profession (and rightly so) and I can't remember the last time they went on strike for more money.

An oath to be abided by in the 21st money driven century?

Buck Rogers to be real is more likely.

Like to see politicians and many other professions start to get moralistic over an oath they've pledged.

Who were the soundbite cunts in power banging on about a '7 Day NHS?'

......so the nhs is in financial crisis yet the answer to having to work funny hours is obviously to demand more money. Splendid.

So the poster would be happy to be forced to work weekends when he is told he has too, which i guess would screw a lot of personal lifes up. He'd also be happy to not get any more pay for doing this and then having to stretch what little funding the NHS does get from 5 days to 7 even though everyone knows the NHS is in a financial crisis?

They're prepared to abandon their oath in order to get more money out of the people they swore to heal.

FANTASRIC businessmen, I'll give em that.

In an ideal world I'd like the doctor making the decision on my health/life to work the minimum hours they are happy with on the money they are happy with.

It's not something I can afford to be fucked over with, whereas all other overpaid jobs like many in the city.........I can and still be alive at the end of it.

I can't imagine why MRS MAY kept Jeremy Hunt on as health secretary, when she knew full well how much he's despised by our fantastic junior doctors.

And then the fucking fraud has the audacity to say it's the junior doctors who are politicising this mess.

They do get paid well. As well they should. It's a specialised and important job. No one has disagreed with that. We're just fed up of supposedly noble people holding the people they serve to ransom out of pure greed.

Doctors are human beings the same as the rest of us and if they choose to let people die cos they want more money they deserve as much contempt as anyone else.

I'd snap your hand off for a 10% pay increase for working less hours, tbh

Yes, mashed you seem to live in a quaint little world, any job where there's a chance you can get sued, imprisoned and in history get executed for not keeping someone alive, kind of fucks off that 'vocation' bollocks.

People having negative opinions in an area they neither have the intellect, qualification or stomach to face the emotional situations they have to deal with on a daily basis are the cunts here. Including politicians and media outlets with those certain opinions.

Pay the doctors AND nurses very fucking well I say.

You obviously have no argument. Just admit your precious junior doctors are as greedy as your evil tory nemeses and move forward.
